R.I.P CODEY 12/11/05

Our family blue heeler was hit by a car this morning in front of our house after a gate was left open, she died shortly after.
She was man's best friend and turned 2 on the 30th of October.
She could always make me laugh and her loss has been hard on the family and the poor girl that hit her.
A tribute:
I will miss her dearly.

my mums dog got hit recently shes a little Silky Terrior , she was hit at 50 - 60kp/h went under the car and survived ...
still it put our family on their asses when the dog went to the vet us all thinking she was gone ... so i know how u feel

Poor dog, poor family. I feel for you guys.
My aunt's dog got hit by a car at 100km/h just outside her gate (rural property) and due to her being a vet she was able to do emergency surgery right there and then. That dog survived the incident with no lasting ill effects. On the other hand, my aunt's dog before that got hit by a car (at about 55km/h) near my house in Brighton that one wasn't so lucky.
It's all up to luck. Sometimes you're number is up and there's nothing you can do about it.

Mate thats some bad news, i had a blue heeler named Bruiser and the poor bastard got hit by a ute. Best mate i ever had, i know how ya feel

My condolences too...
I luv my pets like nuthin else the dog I got when I was 3 and he lived like 15 years, I have his ashes in a box in my cupboard with my collectables.
