Aftermarket Computers? Thu, 16 January 2003 05:47 Go to next message
Just wondering if anyone out there could direct me to the best places to get aftermarket computers for 3s-ge Celica's.
My last car was a VN commodore and you could by computers for them at the corner shop!!!

Anyone with good or bad experiences or something to help me get one.

Thanks
Nigel

well i have a 3sgte and i use ems i think it kick arse over all bar motec...ppl say its a mini motec, i got a great increase in power... but i would suggest something like wolf would be enough for just a 3sge dont take that into offecnce ... its just that u havent listed any mods like cams etc.. so there for u only need the basics wold 3d should be good enough and its also does the fuel and ignition so its all good. really depends on what u wanna do... haltec is ok but i have heard shitty things about it! anyways have fun

My advice is to find who in your area is a reputable efi engine tuner and talk to them. You can debate all day what computer is better than another but if it's not tuned right even the top of the line motec will seem lousy. Your better off using what the tuner is comfortable with rather than forcing him to use something he's not.
