hi just got my st162 celica back on the road (kinda) after months of it being out of order. just couple of questions
1. does anyone know of a good toyota place where i can get the car properly tunned in the newcastle area
2. when it revs up to about 2500 - 3000 there's a vibration that comes about from engine bay? anyone have any suggestions what it is. doesnt really seam to happen when car is idleing only when its in motion. and it sounds like its coming from left hand side (looking from front of engine bay)

been suggested that vibration could actualy be a timing issue

It could be engine mounts.

can they tune our cars ??
i was simply under the impression that toyota or a good mechanics can tell you if its functioning properly etc. fuel/air etc etc.
as for the noise !! hmmm , i had a vibration noise in mine about that too (3k) under stress, but its the exhaust !!!!

could possbily be exhaust as engien doesnt really seem to move when reved. have to suss that out tomorrow.
as for tuning the guy on the phone didnt really say "nope piss off can't do that" and timing might need chaning, and i really cant be stuffed trying to frig around getting the cover off.
i dunno we'll see how we go will definatly check the exhaust tomorrow.

Vibration could be something to do with clutch/flywheel? Maybe cv shafts even..
