Hey guys, after the crash of the ra40 ive since bought a new car, my 28 with the 18rg in it, ive opted to sell off the 18rg and transfer the 1ggze into it. but its a long term project. Im feeling around to see if anyone in perth wants one, and due to the condition of my original 18rg and after doing the maintainence checks on this motor, offers over 700 would be concidered. I will be giving the engine a tidy up as it is still in the car, as soon as it comes out it will be getting a good scrub
Full compression accross all cylinders, when warm they all sit around 167- 170, so its all looking good. Blows NO smoke at all except when your really planting it, and it starts to blow at about 4000rpm. Its been well looked after, and starts first time every time. I belive it was tuned at ATC about 6 months ago, before the close of the buisness.
If anyone is interested, please call on 0403893992 or PM me OR email steve101@westnet.com.au

Dude, $700 is cheap for an 18RG with those compression values! If only you were in Canberra/Sydney... Actually, maybe I'll check out freight costs anyway!

No worries. Let me know when it's out, and I'll see if I have the funds at that stage!
