Digital dash wire up

Has anyone put a digital dash on a car that was analogue?
I'm trying to wire up my new engine with my standard dash (digi) but it won't light up, I think there must be a power wire, or a ground wire from the dash to the engine.

Mate its in the car now (from the factory) I just want to know how to plug it into the new engine as it was working with the old one.

I think Norbie converted his MA61 Digital dash to suit a 2JZ conversion???? Would be similar I would think?
Try his site
http://www.norbie.net/project2jz
might be something on there?
Will keep looking.

Me again. I have had a bit of communication with Andy at
http://www.supras.org.nz
who has done a &mgte into a 5M Supra including I think some analogue to digital work. He might be able to help? he was helpful to me on a couple of things.
The site is excellent for anyone doing the 5M to 7M conversion.

From memory, Norbie was going to be using the analogue dash from the Aristo in place of his digital one.
