Sure they could all LOOK the same, but do they have to continually put the same slow-arse anchor's under the hood.

Pity we'll probably never see one over here. I've been asking about them at every motor show ever since the Solara was released in the USA. They just keep saying that it's not destined for our market.

Last year We were looking at the Camry Sportivo concept at the motorshow, and a mate's Dad put it so sublimely:
"Doesn't matter how big the Alloy wheels on the turd are, or how many spoilers you can stick on it. Even with this bright'r polish, it's still a turd."
Allow Me to invite you to make the same mental leap about wrapping said turd in a new skin. (also highly polished, in gloss black!)
Did I mention that ToyotAus are talking VERY seriously about making base/mid-level Camry ALL 4-cyl, and saving the V6 mainly for the new Avalon?

Vienta (or whatever it's called now) and "sporty" models will supposedly still cop six of the least boring cylinders a Toyota commitee can bring itself to approve for sale.

The Vienta range was dropped back in 2001 or whenever the current shape was released. They are all called "Camry" now, hence my argument. Sportivo range includes both 4 and 6 cylinder models as well...
