has anyone ever had an oil pressure gauge sender snap off from the block. mine snapped of clean in the block whilst i was driving and all my oil splashed out all over my extractors and engine bay. there were billows of smoke but i managed to stop the car before it siezed. the engine is a 100kw 4age. there is now a thread stuck in the block and i cant get it out. i have tried everything to get it out includeing drilling it but it wont budge.

I have known of a few people who have had this happen (or T piece snap off in the block). They have always come out with an "Easy-Out" though, have you tried that? They sell them at most hardware stores.

I have the same thing happen to me, but it only hairline fractured so it only lost preassure at High RPM, luckily i was only driving around Oran Park practising at the time, but when i went to undo it it snapped completely
T pieces are bad for 4AGE's,
Easy outs should do the trick, just dont exert too much downward preassure on the block while trying to extract it, or you will have some welding to do as well.
Ben.
