i would like to hot up a 1988 4ac motor from a toyota seca.
any ideas, i want to keep original 1600 motor and i use the car to race autocross which is a 1km dirt track so top end speed is not important but, would like some low end grunt.Best carbi, best exust, gearing etc.

Do a search mate, been covered many times
The 4ac is a no go when looking for performance. There's only so much 8valves SOHC can do, and thats a massive 35fwkw
best option i a 4age, can get them pretty cheap these days in decent condition
