Purpleminiep, To my knowledge I dont know of any guts of the dizzy that will fit in the 2T dizzy... The only way I think to change it over to electronic is to get the distributer from a 3T-EU.. These should bolt straight in with no problems and they are electronic..

I have a 2TGEU dizzy myself. They are around, you just have to get lucky looking. There are some 4K/5K dizzys around with electronic ignition, mostly off import motors. SOme of these parts fit a 2T distributor. I have seen a few electronic ones on 2T motors, and 5K motors. I know FWD Gemini motors use the same distributor cap as my 2TGEU one, which is also the same cap as my 4K one. So look in a Gemini motor for parts. Its all ND as well.

Purpleminiep I am just using a 22RE ignitor and distributer on mine .... and it runs fine... No hiccups at all.. If you want I can have a look at mine and tell how it is wired up..

'purpleminiep'
kits to replace points are plentyful.
as what comes to regraphing it, why not give a 'Jaycar programmable ignition' -kit a try. it's a low budget thingy, and not too complex to build. comes with good manual.
just my thoughts ...

If you can get a proper electronic distributor, I would not bother with a Jaycar kit using the points. Because you can still get points bounce and things car wear and slip still. A magnetic points setup is very robust. A hall effect system is technicaly better, but not as robust.
