hey I have a quick question. I have EPX 80W/90 oil but my service manual says I should use HYP 80W/90. On the back of the EXP 80W/90 oil it says not to use in gearboxes where where non-EP oil is recommended. Does this mean that I shouldn't use this oil or will it be ok? it is for a t40 box
from what i gather the EXP is something to do with extreme pressure. i couldn't find anything about what HYP meant. maybe high pressure? so assuming that thats is what those two mean it would be alright to use since it can stand high pressure or does it mean it only works properly in extreme pressure???
