Just wondering if anybody can identify this gearbox for me. I've got no idea how to identify it. Thanks

After I got my magnifying glass out, the best I could say is that it is probably a W5x box (or possibly an R154).
I would want a better picture, preferably around the shifter mainly to see how it is bolted to the rear casing and confirm/deny the R154 possibility.
As for which W5x box, the only way would be to count gears.
I can definitely say it is not a W50.

Cheers for that. I would not be able to get another photo for a few days, but the guy I got it from said he thought it was a W55 or W58. I just wanted to check it was a W5x. Thanks

With my rediculously-high-res, and therefore pic-the-size-of-little-toenail, it almost looks like a 154... How heavy is it?
