GZE with AE82 twinky fuel pump?!? Sat, 18 January 2003 15:59 Go to next message
I've been hearing various reports on this matter and i'm interested in your opinions on the subject.

Will a fuel pump from an AE82 twin cam be able to supply enough fuel to run a MAP Sensored GZE, without it leaning out? Am i gunna need to run a different fuel pump or will the twinky one cope fine? Any info appreciated Smile

Speaking from experience you can run a gze with the stock twinky fuel pump, I did.. I have a 3rd gen GZE... however it will not run to its full potential and will lean out a bit.. I have got VL turbo pump now and it was a very noticable difference through the whole rev range and even throttle response..
