Apart from the later 88 model twinky's having the 88kw 4A-GE engine, what are the external differences between the AE82s? I've seen ones with different stickers (or decals?) that look factory. There also seems to be more than one hatch design. Is this a feature of the later models or am i imagining things?
Some have decals, some done, hatch design decal is also iffy..
Only the twinky's come with rear discs so if you can't tell just take a look, it is highly unlikely thet someone went to the trouble of chucking discs on the back if they are still running the carby engines.. If its by drive by its pretty hard.. another way to tell is that the dash cluster is different in the twinky's and unless they've changed the steering wheel it will have Twin Cam 16 in nice orange letters in the middle of it...
I think the hatch difference you are reffering to may be the spoiler at the top. I have seen a subtle difference it it.
