what good colour for ae86??

hey guys i have been thinkin about what colour i would like to see on my car untill now that my project is about to get painted i still dunno what colour to paint it.
now i been thinkin about a cool candy apple red or bayside blue
i have seen a couple of blue 86 they look kewl but theres alot of blue these days so i wanna go with something like candy red
i got this impressin that candy red would look from a running free ae86. have u guys seen that 86 in i think it was autosalon mag

NO! no orange of any shade..
Thes an 86 where I live, wide bodykit, and orange! It aint a good look for them. Go black. Also really dark green would be interesting, Maroon look cool too.

man not many colors to choose for ae86. everytime i think of a color for mine, i already know someone with that color.
right now im thinking of goin BMW M3 gold with black bumpers.
ps, if u know someone with that color on an 86, dont let me find out!! ssshhhh...

Just paint it pale pink and put the name of your hairdressing salon on the side.
Just think, you can even have your own cartoon where you drift the streets delivering haircut to the homless without spilling your hairspray and gel

only poo thing about black is the fact how much just a little bit of dirt shows up on it. my freind is constantly washing his VX ss commonwhore becuase its metallic black and always shows up dirt

take it back to the bare metal and drive it around like that or take it back to baremetal then get the whole thing chromed..... or do something like that funky car in back to the future, the de lorian, now mr.lorian knew what was good for cars!

would all chrome be illegal due to the whole refecltion/distraction thing?
whats really the limitation on how much chrome/reflective materials you can have on your car..
wanna go for really original, cover the out side of your car in fur of some sort (pimping fluff, or dumb and dumber dogy van style)

Dark colours suck, especially on the average ae86 due to wrinkles and mismatched panels.

but is scientifically proven that red cars go faster 
the pigment in the paint is thiner so adds less weight, and due to it being less pourous then other colored paints its more aerodynamic

Red is shit on a sprinter..
I'm so sick of looking at my red car. Especially with the big smash on the rear.
I'm think about doing a two tone, metallic grey on my trueno..
That'd look hot.
Either that, or just plain white.

i beg to differ have you seen the up garage d1 86 its orange and it looks hot plus its got 400hp and nos

Yeah don't knock the Orange Widebody 86's Where are you from?? Could be mine your talking about? I don't mind you don't like it though! To be honest I don't really like the colour either! Haha.. It is orange with heaps of gold pearl through it. If it gets a re-spray I will be going plain old white. Easier to fix!
