Lambo didn't run as the sister lambo (2 were made at the same time) down in Melbourne ran with the ALSC and got 148kW (to my knowledge) with the stock lexus engine with manual box and bloody nice extractors. Lambos are both the same so would've been same figure.
Was nice David could come though, he'll come on some cruises and such too. (Putty Road is his favourite)

My apologies for not being there, was planning on being there, however due to a %$Wt economy and air traffic controller strikes, got stuck in the Solomon Islands til Tuesday.
BTW I was working - not on holidays enjoying the sun...

A point worth adding .Is IM told the temps in the shed where.......VERY HOT ....matt Bently had intake temps some 30-40 degrees higher than normal .
does anyone actually know what the ambient temp was ?????( its rumoured to be in the high 30's)
anyway just to give all the winners an even bigger wrap .if the temps where as high as believed, then MOST cars would have achieved higher power figures the most effected would be turbo cars .and more so ones with stock intercoolers .Its during really hot temps that aftermarket intercooler really shine
eg Andrew Linton got 212 rwkw but on the dyno plus 228 rwkw (ambient temp was a cool 20 degrees c).So the approx 7 % (16 kw)power loss seems quite acceptable .
assuming the dyno plus is about the same as toymods dyno (give or take ).Previous power reading's have been within about 5 H.p of the toymods dyno
however matt bentlys 186 rwkw is Normally 220 BIG LOSS of 18%
boy im going to get an aftermarket cooler
when matt and andrew race (same cars same weight g box etc).there is only about 1 car lenght in it (at best)
Allowing for a similar loss my cressida would have registered a pissy 173 .interestingly enough on a 38 degree day i got 179 RWHP but did a BIG LONG cooling run before testing
So to all you guys out there that think these power figures are easy to beat think again .an HONEST dyno on a hot day these are good results .Just look at the power figures of similar stock engines

When I was in running the computer for the dyno, which was a fair portion of the day including when Matt ran, the temperature ranged between 37 and 40 degrees. It certainly wasn't a great environment for the turbo cars.
