Hi all,
I just discovered this wicked little java applet on the internet. It helps you calculate the speed difference your speedo registers when you upsize or downsize wheel sizes.
Apparently, my corolla which now has 17" rims with 205/40-17 tyres is actually approximately 3 km/h faster than the indicated 100km/h.
The applet is in imperial measurements, so 1 mile ~ 1.4 km.
Hope this is helpful to someone!

Just thought I'd clarify, a mile is roughly 1.61km, not 1.4km.
You can also change it to metric too
