Question about turbo 4AGZE.

I have the chance to purchase a 4AGZE, converted to turbo. The parts list is as follows:
4AGZE engine, minus supercharger
Garrett GT28R turbo
Custom intake manifold with 550cc injectors
Intercooler
Ported and Polished head
Oil breather
Brass button clutch
Supra 5 Speed gearbox
3inch exhaust system
Polished pipes
All mounts included
Supposed to be good for 260rwhp, running with a microtech MTX-8.
Roughly how much should I look at spending on it? I'm keen to buy it, but I thought I'd ask some Toyota experts before I fork over all my money.
Thanks in advance.

Well he's offered it to me for $3500 minus the microtech. I reckon I'll take it.

I would not listen to this advice..... simply for the fact that the engine already has decent pistons.
As proven in several several cars now, the 4agze pistons and rods are more than capable of some serious numbers!
In fact, the factory 4agze piston is a forged, ceramic coated item.

Witz,
Is the piston design similar in a 1G-GZE?
meaining method/material of manufacture wise not spec wise...

Yeah thats rubbish. Would be a waste of money to do this. You already have ceramic coated forged pistons. 4agze's are over engineered for stock power so therefore can produce a whole lot more power than stock without having to touch the internals. Especially if you are going to be having it tuned with an aftermarket ecu and large injectors you will keep pinging to a minimum. As for the price issue. Just offer him a thousand less He can only say no and if you still want it just keep bargaining... You can only try!!
