Hi,
Yes, they do look damn nice in your garage, parked in the street (though I wouldn't advise parking it in a non-salubrious neighbour hood) and even look better cruising around the streets.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Can only imagine...
If I could get one imported to Oz easily enough I would seriously consider it.

Hey River,
I noticed you were looking into importing a TA27 a while ago. Just curious as to what iformation you found out and is it easy enough to import these old classics?

Hi,
I haven't got any info, except when I see the one I want I will buy it.
However, my funds are currently being saved to finish off the RA25. Once that's done and finished, then I can commence on my next project - which will be either an angry RA25 or a full original TA27.

Hi,
The TA27 looks the same as the RA25 but it has the 2T series engines, instead of the 18R (RA25) series engines. The TA27GT has the 2TG engine. Internally and externally the RA25 and the TA27 look the same.
That pic from Puzzle could be either a TA27 or an RA25. Pity they put that ugly wing thing on the rear and also the cursive "Celica" badge on the rear-left side of the tailgate lip is non-standard.
Though, they do look good in black. Pity it wasn't a Toyota colour back when they were being manufactured. I'm glad the bumpers were left chromed - they look so much better than when they're painted.
