HELP BIG PROBLEM

First i have to say NEVER work on a car, especially on a car stereo when frustrated!!
today i was installing my speakers again and i put a screwdriver through it!! luckily its only a tear not a whole and it hasn't affected the sound.... but can enyone tell me of a way to repair it? or just sustain it till i have money

that sucks, not sure if there's a good way of fixing it other than replacing the speakers...

dangus... thats what i figured too....
Luckily i didn't pay for them, a friend gave them to me, but its really annoying casue it's Blaupunkt

put some electrical tape over the tear, that will make a temporary repair but I dont know of any other form of repair other than replacement...

You can repair most poly and paper cone woofers fairly easily, just buy a "8 inch speaker surround repair kit" from Jaycar and use the included glue to glue up the hole.
You don't need to worry about the size of the surround because you're not using that, just the glue.
You can get the glue seperately from places like cadilac plastics but it costs about the same as the repair kit ($19.95).
Depending on how badly you damaged the cone this sort of repair can last for years.
