I just picked up a 1972 TA22 Celica LT. Theres some work to do on it but it was a good price and should ausome once its running.

Engine
100kw 4AG
rebuilt to include a ported and polished head
balanced crank and conrods
high compression pistons
electronic fuel pump
Ivan Tighe racing cams
custom made tuned length extractors
twin 42mm side draft Webbers

Suspension
Koni shocks & Lowered Kings Springs
Larger sway bars
Mandrel bent sports exhaust and custom velour interior.
13" Jellybean wheels with 205 65 tires

Driveline
Celica 5 speed
Heavy duty clutch
Hilux limited slip diff with oversize drums (just fit in the 13" rims)

Ill have to find somwhere to host the pics an put them up soon.

Its a 4AG from an AE92 I think. The bodies a bit rough but still pretty decent. Im gonna keep it carbie for now. Im just swapping the gearbox because the old pressure plate & bellhousing are stuffed. Hopefully it'll be running this week. This model celica was always rwd. Ill put up some more stuff soon.

ahhh is emissions legality an issue in qld like it is in nsw

but i do like the carbs

Thats one of my favorite year Celicas.
I have a 71 and a 72 Celica.
