hi just wondering if anyone on here has done this before as i am going to do this soon and would like a heads up on problems i might come across. i have searched and found the transmission tunnel is too small. any help is much appriciated

check www.club4ag.com forums, quite a few people on there have done the conversion. I dont think anyone in Aus has done this yet.

I can see why people would do it.
The ultimate in NA power, without losing reliability or adding too much weight.
And the most legendary drift chassis known to man.
Interesting tidbit : Honda started out by making piston rings - a lot of which went to Toyota.
I'm a huge fan of both companies. Honda's engineering finesse makes me horny and Toyotas are just tough as hell. I'd love to see what they'd come up with if they cooperated on something.

If its an half cut, use the tunnel that comes with it. Its easy once you have the engine mounts sorted out.
Be warned, the gearboxes are weak

Cheap and AE86 shouldn't be in the same sentance anyway.
