Hi,
I used Wade 267, 8mm cams in my AW11 GZE completely stock head otherwise. After tweaking timing, idle is essentially stock, low end lost a fair bit, mid and upper rpm torque are both improved. The car is quicker overall except from the 'traffic lights' if you know what I mean - the instant 2000rpm torque is gone. Instead its a few hundred (say 2700rpm) higher up the rev range.
Torque drop off at higher revs is greatly reduced over stock.
I know of someone who had just HKS 264's (they didn't know at first) and their car seemed stock (but strong) and was a second faster than a stock AW11SC on the quarter.

Cheers, Nick

PS: See my website for a video of my car with these cams
