WHen did Toyota start puting in Rev Limiters? Tue, 21 January 2003 04:57 Go to next message

And on what cars?

And more specifically, is there a rev. limiter on the 1UZFE Crown? In Aus. spec. or JDM?

They started putting in rev limiters on cars pretty much the same time as crank angle sensors were installed as it made it very easy to put it in the ECU code.

7MGTE came out around 86-87 so then.
