That's totally fucked, real sorry to hear that. I just wonder if the guy that stole it knew what he was looking for because he's got a celica himself, & needs the thing for a conversion or something, he knew what he was doing chopping the plug off too. But that would be a kunt act to pull on a fellow celica owner.
So what sorta computer are you gonna go for? Autronic?

I don't know yet. Depends how the budget goes. I'd like an Autronic, but it'll cost me. I'm thinking something like a Haltech might be the way to go. Definitely not going Microtech though. I just fixed the motor (18R-C) in the new Celica, so I've got some time to fix the 18R-G and get an ECU for it. I may even just get a whole 22R-E EFI system and use that for now.
The stereo was in the car held in by 2 screws and wasn't even touched. Nor were the loosely attached speakers. Whoever stole the computer knew what they were after. I don't know why they didn't take the air flow meter though.

2 people in Toymods have been to my house and I can't see why either of them would need an 18R-G ECU, nor can I say they're the sort of people that'd do this sort of thing. I think it was more a matter of opportunity. The ECU wasn't hidden too well, so they would have seen the loom through the window and realised what was under the carpet, came back when it was dark and chopped the computer out.
This is starting to shit me. I left the Crown (MS112) outside Nepean Square for half an hour today and came back to find that somebody had stolen the right tail light lens. There were no shattered bits anywhere, so it had obviously been pulled out and taken. Bloody Penrith.
Maybe I should just buy an Excel. Then I wouldn't have bastards ripping my bits off because they need them for their car.

Thats pretty fucked!!! Excuse the language but thats all i can say... My cousin had 2 sound systems stolen in around a month... It's half his fault but still, some ppl are tight... Who would steal a frigen tail light??? Was it the whole assembly??? If you bought an excel, someone would prob steal the spoiler if they had a povo-pack excel...
