i just got a tacho...............needed to know what is the max rpm for fc engine..........

Just remember that needlessly winding an engine out to its redline is moronic if peak power occurs well before that figure.
Example:
My dodgy 4AC redlines at 6000rpm, yet after about 4700 - 5000rpm the power flattens (ceases to 'pull' as hard) so i se no point in straining the poor thing all the way to 6k.

i've got a 4ACrap aswell and i quite regulary wind 2nd out to 5500, tho i have a hi flow air cleaner, temperature flange on exhuast manifold is permanently open and the exhaust doesn't have a meow converter, i find the little power it makes is around 5 but i dont find it drops off till at least 6200-6500.

i used rev my fc like a 20v up to like 7,500 never had no dramas could tell it didnt like it but
and no kiddies dont try this and home

if i keep pushin my fc hard, eg high revs in the long run..is there ne damage done 2 it... coz atm..since i hava a tacho install. i always change it around 5500rpm
