Brake upgrade confusion

Hi all I've got a 83 Corolla KE70 wagon and I'm planing on putting a 4AGZE in it, but am planing on doing the brakes, suspension, mags etc first.
So what I'm asking is what brake upgrade options do I have to pull up the 4AGZE in the Corolla, I'm looking at going to 15" rims so there will be a bit more room behind there, plus also looking at disc brake rear end is this possible? if so what is the best set-up there?
Sorry about all the questions and thanks in advance.

Is it possible to stick bigger rotors on, of another Toyota or similar and different callipers? or do I have to stick different strut towers in to get bigger/better brakes?
Thanks.

you dont need new stuts
u can make/get made some new backing plates for your calipers and put a lager disc on that way

Try DBA, they might make some rotors or something that you may be able to just swap straight over, like they will make them to the wide and all of the originals. Well thats just what a mate of mine said who works at a brake and clutch place said to do with my ke20.
