i am not sure
but if it causes problems to your vision or people can't see you i am guessing thats illegal.
i have seen these tints on honda crv's i guess the police don't really care unless they are bored or something.

I know full-on chrome tint is illegal, but i'm not sure about those new ones that appear chrome but you can actually still make-out the driver behind, i'd assume that they are illegal but yeah, crv's have it so i'm not sure. Most likely car manufacturers can get away with some things the usual home mechanic can't. I dunno. To be safe i'd say it'd be illegal, those chrome "JMS DRIFT KINGS" crown stickers are illegal, so i'd say a whole window of it would be too.

5% tinting is crazy... Can you actually drive at night or do you have to wind the windows down?!

I have 20% with the mirror stuff and I haven't been hassled by the piggies.

In NSW those ford falcon wagons that sit on the side of the road and take photos of people speeding, have that chrome tinting. I have seen 3 with it.

That looks awesome...

That stuff is illegal...

There is some reflective stuff that when you look at it on an angle, you can see through it like there is no tint there at all...

I'll be getting 5% on mine soon... I shall drive with the windows down at night... Looks like it's time to get the heater fixed Cool Cool Cool ...

This is a photo of mine. Don't think it's as metallic as yours, but the angle makes a big difference.
