Corona Conversion Crap

Alright, i've got an XT130 and i am able to buy my friends corona for REALLY cheap. This is the deal. I want to do the Corona strut/hiLux caliper/pug disk brake conversion on one of my TA22's, and i was wondering if the struts in his corona will be suitable for this conversion, if so i'll buy it purely for the struts. (if anyone wants Corona parts start emailing away!) Now i know that the struts needed for this conversion are the xt130 struts, however his corona is not an xt130. Infact i have no idea what model it is. My xt130 is an '81 model, and his is an '82 model, however his car looks somewhat different from mine. Actually if you look at it carefully, it actually SEEMS to be almost exact in exterior dimensions, the only APPARENT differences are the tail-lights, headlights, and slight changes to the bonnet and front guards. Apart from this it all seems to be the exact same as my xt130. It is not the latter model 'boxy' Corona you see so much of, infact it looks almost identical to the xt130 from side on (apart from slightly differing front guards.)
Now all i want to know is will his Corona have the szame struts as the xt130 for my conversion or will they be different? The only other information i can really give is that mine is the starfire powered beast and his has a 22re or something jap like that. Hopefully someone with a bit of brains will be able to help me on this issue, thanks
André

basically it comes down to needing a 90mm space between the caliper bolt holes, I think my ones were off a rt132, I measured the bolt holes shurgged my shoulders and bought them.

I was checking out some coronas at pickies today, & it seems there's XT130 corona struts with the sumitomo twin spots with the 90mm caliper bolt hole spacing, which are the ones you want, but there are also XT130s with single piston calipers, which may or may not have different caliper bolt hole spacing (I didn't have time to compare them).
As has been said, the bolt holes need to be 90mm apart. The other thing to look out for is the spacingg of the 2 bolts on the bottom of the strut, make sure these are the same, I've seen corona struts with the 90mm caliper bolt bracket but the bottom of the strut did not match the celica one.
If they're off an XT130 & have the sumitomo twin spot calipers, you can be pretty sure they are right. But check everything.

yes XT130 twin piston stuts are the ones you need. I have been told that the stuts reqiure shortening by 23 or 25mm? or the use of custom height springs in a TA22 or the front will be to high. Also the stock master cylinder may be inadequate for use with 4 piston callipers. I had my stock 13/16 cylinder bored out to 15/16. I will have to wait and see how it all works though as the car is at least six months away from completion.
