ae86, 4age wiring

ive been told the ae82 twinky loom can be used for a 4age sprinter conversion is this corect? where are the computers placed in factory 4age sprinters?
oh and another thing are the 86kw looms interchangeable with the 100kw ones?

I think the standard spot for the computer is under the passenger side kick panel, thats where most GE conversions put them. The FWD loom can be used, however if you want to route it through the standard firewall hole then it will need to be lengthed, otherwise if you make a new hole you can use it intact.

No. Most of the sensor connections are completely different, and probably the computer connection plugs as well.

G'day,
I think prices vary, but I'm pretty sure I've seen 86kW looms go for around the $100 mark - if not mistaken there was one for sale in the Parts For Sale section not long ago. Try and get one that's complete as possible (no cuts, no missing plugs, etc).
