Alright, my TA22 rear seat almost jumps out at you when you try to remove it, but i can't for the life of me work out how to remove the rear seat in my XT130 Corona. I know it must be one of those stupid "push here and pull that while standing on one leg" kinda jobs, but i cana't figure out how to remove the bloody thing. I've been pushn' and pulln' every which way but i can't get the bloody thing out. I'm hoping if one of you guys can explain how to remove the bottom part, the top part should then have hidden bolts or something. Any help will be very much appreaciated.
Thanks, André

I think it has 2 latches under the seat, you have to reach down between the bottom and the top bit and pull both latches at the same time. Then just undo the hinges and it should come off. I have not had the corona for a long time now, so I cant check it out, but from memory this is how its done.

i dunno if this applies for the old corona, but it might be worth a try (works on the newer ones):
lift up the rear edge of the flat piece of the seat, so that its pulled out of its place. You'll notice that it just wont go any further once you pull it out. Now you have to push the front of the seat back towards the rear of the car (easiest to do one side at a time) and lift it once it moves back a small amount. This should pop the seat out, and you will notice how its all put together.
This is the same method as the removal of commodore seats if that helps

Haha i'm usually the one who tries it gently and if it doesn't work tries another way. But my mate came over today and gave the front of the seat a big f$#ing yank and 'pop' out she came lol. I was like "ohhh that easy..." lol. So i just thought i'd post this incase anyone else ever needs to find out. So all you do is pull the front of the bottom of the seat upwards, preferable one side at a time. From there it's pretty much out, then the back is straightforward, you can see how that comes out easily once the bottom is out. Thanks for all the guesses anyway guys!
