Cut & Shut or RWD Manifold ? Sat, 08 June 2002 23:46 Go to next message
I've got a sprinter and 100KW 4AGE.
Should I cut and shut FWD manifold or get a RWD manifold ?
For a RWD manifold, Does it bolt straight onto it ?
Which mods will get me a more HP ?

Cheers

You will have to cut and shut the 100Kw manifold as there was no RWD 100Kw manifold made

I thought 86KW rwd manifold(jap spec) can be fit onto 100KW 4AGE... so the cut and shut would be the only option ?????

The TVIS manifold does not fit the 100kw engine. However, a cut and shut job isn't always a bad thing, and in my case only cost 60 bucks, plus gives you the chance to have a slight fiddle with the innards of the manifold while the ends are cut off.
