hiya a 78 four door corolla - be a ke55 methinks.
stock it should have a 4KC from memory - good little hard to kill motor. very reliable, also, down on power, but, it makes up for it with reliability.
rust is about the only problem with these early type corolla's.
hmmm, $2k - is alot - it would want to have next to no rust and be in really really good nick for those sorta dollars. my missus bought one 6 years ago - a ke30 with no rust and paid $3k for it - but that was exceptional that car.

its a clean car with minimal rust, the only concern is a squeak in the front left hub. the rest of the car is immaculate, and its a 3kc engine and yes its down on power but we like going slow so everyone can see us stylin in the rolla' and its cheap to run. i think we are going to get so if we do cyaaas on a cruze soon!

thats a bit much for 2 k i would expect like grega little rust even better no rust at all with a 3k motor, it would hve to be as straight as a arrow and the paint damn good to pay 2k for that, have a look at www.tradingpost.com.au im sure u will find some great deals there i know i saw the same model rolla with 3 months rego for $500 not hardly any rust thats a bargain. just look around champ.
