I have an RT40 corona which I am planning on upgrading the powerplant to a 4age.Anyone know of an easy front disc conversion. [Report message to a moderator]

Easiest would be to use disc brakes off an RT81. Just swap over the complete stub axle. You'll also need the master cylinder and booster. If you can find an old 4 cylinder shovelnose Corona Mk2 (RT72), you could also use those. [Report message to a moderator]

Thanks for that.I was hoping for something a bit bigger but I'm sure these should suffice.I had an rt81 once with drum brakes,is it only the auto's that have discs or just he 73 model? [Report message to a moderator]

A friend of mine inherited a manual RT81 with factory front discs, so I don't think that's it. Not sure of the year either. [Report message to a moderator]
