ST141 Corona Sedan Sun, 02 February 2003 23:56 Go to next message
Hey

Um looks like i might be able to pick up another st141 for a spare parts car. Um Does anyone know where the bad spot for rust in the sedans are?. I have been told that the diff gears in the sedan are a little shorter then the wagon is this true?.

Any help would be cool thanks

all st141 coronas seem to rust at the bottom corners of the windscreen, and at the base of the fuel filler opening.
also check behind all four wheels, as there is usually a build up of dirt and other crud that gets damp and causes rust.

the gregory's manual doesn't say anything about sedans and wagons having different diff ratios, however the autos have a 4.11 and the manuals have a 3.89 ratio.
