This is the Camry that Australia will be getting sooner or later. Doesn't look too bad

A cohesive blend of Lexus IS200 front/grille, and the Honda Accord rear. Looks good in that colour.

Ford and holden should be scared at that. Looks like a direct competitor to the falcon/commodore.

That rear pipe isn't stock though is it? Or the tyres? The profile looks pretty low for the camry market. Unless they are shifting what the camry 'market' is.

My guess it will be the vvti v6 or v8 lexus engine too?

I'd say that the wheels, tyres and the exhaust are all aftermarket items... The bodykit may be aftermarket or it could be one from the Toyota Sportivo range... The way that the car looks, i think its FWD... Whats wrong with FWD's anyway??? A little understeer never hurt anyone... My guess is either a 4 or 6 cylinder... But then again, if its an 8, it's bound to be RWD... I wonder when it'll come out here... I spose i'll be one of the first to know anyway so i guess i'll have to let all of u know when i hear about it...
Cheers...

It's been modified. It's lowered with Alloys. Not sure of the engine mods. It's an all new 4 Cyl 2.4ltr engine. I'm guess there is a V6 option as well. It is FWD.

If you look at the new ES300, you will see the similarities.

Nah, there's enough white mitsubishi magna's there already.

By the way things go though, the v6 will outsell the 4 cyl version for sure here. Is it a vvti though?

YEah, there is an article about it in this months Wheels magazine. They were saying about it having a new 4 cylinder engine and the V6. Also says they changed the suspension settings for Australia to...add a little lift-off oversteer so it can stop understeering so much around corners.

Mind you, I'd much rather see the Chaser here. Much nicer car, RWD and you could take it to Bathurst. I was reading something somewhere about the head of Mitsubishi Australian wanting to have a Magna in the V8 Supercar series. That would be a lot of work, easy for a Chaser though Smile
