Some where in the forums i read that someone had used a W50 gearbox with the 4agze. If i remember rightly he said that you need to shave 5mm off the w50 bellhousing and make a 12mm adapter plate. He said you could use the 4agze clutch, flywheel and start motor. Is this true and has anyone do this?
Do you need a bearing in back of the crank to support gearbox shaft and if so how do you mount it?
I can answer some of that - the 4agze clutch is suitable, and you do need a spigot bearing, which just has to be shoved into the end of the crank. Easy really!
I too am looking into the 4AGZE clutch with the W50 idea. But the one thing that worries me is how available replacement clutches are considering the 4AGZE was never available on the OZ market
