I cant believe someone would actually consider that. It should be taken from them before being handed back at high speed, repeatedly in the head region.

Oh c'mon, it's not that bad. 
It's pretty small, I doubt anyone would be fooled into thinking it was a knife.
I would get one if it was cheap & locally available. 
But then I'd prolly sharpen it instead of getting it cut as a key.......
