Ha hah ... u crack me up Speedy.
Being serious though, not what they're worth. I've seen a couple on Ebay go for around $100 US for something with just 144 pages and lots of glossy pics.
Guess the fact that there are only about 1,500 copies available or something makes it that more elusive.
U'd be a fool to buy something like that for more than $50.

150 bucks IS excessive, but its a must have if you are a 86 enthusiast

Heh heh ... still overpriced in my opinion but then again, ppl can do whatever they want with their money rite?
FWIW, here's my AE86 bible:

My copy's on a 4-6 week delivery time frame from Canada but I'm sure it'd all be worth it when it finally gets here.

Wonderful thing called Ebay ... I haven't seen many of these come on and when they do, they often go for as much as a Trueno Bible if not more.
Except this time, the seller forgot to put AE86 as a key search word so I picked mine up for a bargain. Postage is what kills me though.
Will have to wait until it arrives to see what's in it. I believe it's aimed more at Trueno's but a lot will still apply to Levins.
As for ordering from American Toyota dealers, forget it ... not many will touch you from personal experience.

Ha hah ... I know how you feel cuz it's happened to me lots of times. Put down a bid but right at the last minute, someone outbids you.
Nah ... that's not me. I got mine about 4-5 weeks ago although the seller took his time in sending it off. Only got an email about a week ago that it was sent.
Was really surprised though that the seller didn't put down either AE86, Trueno, Levin, SR5 or GTS as key search words. Found it by chance by just looking up Toyota Corolla or 4AG if I do recall.
I'll wait till it arrives to see if it is actually worth it all however the way it's described, I don't see how it can't be. Will post up a review or something when I get it.
If you do really want to order one, try Toysports USA:
http://www.toysport.com/
I understand that these are the ppl all the yanks turn to to get those rare & hard to find parts. You can also try other dealers but as I've said, not many can be bothered to ship it.
I've also come across the US Hayes manual for AE86. There's one on sale right now however I don't know much about them.
Good luck!
