in general what size discs can you fit that will still enable a 14inch rim to go on? also whats the max size disc that can fit a in a 15inch rim?
also anyone know what size the discs are on a G200 charade without me having to pull the rim off?

It'd depend on what sort of caliper you are going to use. Hell, GT managed to fit a 330mm disc under a 16" wheel because his AP Racing calipers are quite slim!

FWIW an MA61 Supra has 258mm discs, and they appear to be about as big as you'll get inside a 14" rim. As mentioned above, caliper size is a factor though.

Not so sure I agree, Norbie. Ford Falcons had 287mm rotors under 14" rims for many years (at least since the XA), and Allan and I were able to sneak 291mm Supra rear rotors and calipers under some 14" Ford rims, much to our surprise (and joy!). Glenn has managed to get 307mm rotors under his 15" wheels, and somehow I managed to get 330mm rotors under 16".
The main determinants will be:
- wheel offset,
- wheel construction, and
- caliper construction.
Wheels are very important. Some of those chromies are so poorly made that they are incredibly massive and chunky - this eats into the space where the disc and caliper would need to be. Also you need to look at the 'X-factor' of the wheel. A large X-factor allows a lot of space between the caliper and the inside of the wheel face. Silvia wheels are a good example of a wheel with a large X-factor. I think those Supra alloys have a low X factor (from memory).
Caliper construction is also very important. 'Race style' calipers are often of very slimline construction and hence allow a larger rotor to be squeezed in under the wheel. However, I have noticed that some OEM single piston sliding calipers also have a very slimline construction.
For GIN51E, the short answer is it depends.
EDIT: with regard to disc size, I'll point you to the DBA database/product catalogue.

OK, to be more specific, 258mm appears to be as big as you'll fit inside Supra 14" alloys.

i was thinking of getting bigger rotors for my car but completly forget about the calipers, doesn't matter anymore as i don't plan on getting new calipers as they are big bucks so i'll stick with the standard size disc but get cross drilled and slotted and vented rotors

Personally, I wouldn't bother with cross drilling. There is little advantage over slotting for the the road and it comes with a significant price premium.

my breaks stop the car extreamly quick as its such a light car, just not many people have discs like that so it would look pretty good with gold mags also, as the DBA cross drilled rotors are also gold
just a way of being a little more differant
