attempting to lift the car by the guard can usually mean that the body will rise up enough for you to slide a jack under the car... this is easy with two people, one to lift and one to position the jack.

Dig a hole under the car that you can put the jack into. (Off road of course!)

you have three options:
*pray you don't get a flat,
*pick the car up by the guards as suggested, and pray you don't bend the bodywork in the act,
*raise the car to a legal, and sensible height, which will allow you to then get a jack under it without stuffing around.

If you have a car that sits 20mm off the ground and is drivable, i'll kiss my own arse!

fark my mate has a 180sx that's 6cm off the ground, and even he has MAJOR clearance issues ... speed bumps of any kind are a no-no, as is any parking lot with ramps.... 20mm is silly (no offence) ... consider raising it to about triple that

How about finding a rock and driving onto it slowly. Or you could just find the nearest cliff and jump off it for having your car so stupidly low!

Billsta, The cars that are SAS usually don't get driven... They usually get towed to and from shows - they are show cars... Show and no-go... I reckon that it's pretty stupid actually... My car is pretty low, i scrape on speed bumps and in carparks with ramps... Sometimes i get a little pissed off with it but thats the price you pay for having a lowered car... Ask the owners of the ground scrapers if they drive them... Like the cyber crew such as Danny with his CRX... If i had one of those cars i wouldn't drive it in fear of someone stealing it or if i got pulled over by the cops... Therefore, the cars that are at SAS won't ever need to change a tyre as the cars don't get driven... Or, they have adjustable suspension and put them on the ground for the show... American minitrucks for example... Also, my mate had a Civic at the 2001 SAS (It was a black one with 19's with "BORJU" plates... It had ABBAN on the windscreen and writing draped over the bonnet...) anywayz, back to the story, he lowered it for the show and had the rear wheels up the guards... It sits with the guards on top of the tyres whilst on the road...

Billsta, Yeah i suppose... It's their own decision... I don't want a ground scraper as u have to change ur maps to get to and fro places... Most backstreets now have bumps or speed traps of some sort so u'd have to stick to main roads... Traffic and other crap to slow you down... My cousins car has had the springs cut and it now sits 8.5cm off the ground... He has enough trouble with that... Stuff getting a ground scraper... Whaddya reckon???
