I have an Infinity Kappa 255a in perfect condition in the box with the manual. Its a five channel amp but I only ever used it as a 4 channel. 4x50wrms and 1x200wrms. retail was $2400 and it's hardly been used. Need to sell it so make an offer. Probably best to email me.

entropope...
thanks for the serious reply... damn morons with nothing better than give shit to wogs... anyway, i assume that you'd be keen to get top dollar for this unit, considering how much you paid for it... however i'm sure that you would not be interested in recieving as much as i may offer. by going second hand, i hoped to get something choice, but at a low price, somewhere around $500 would be my upper limit. i'm sorry if this price insults you, let me know anyway...

Dude,
when your wogmobile Pacer can beat my wogmobile Charger (in acceleration and cornering only, NO STOPPING!) then we'll talk...
as i recall your vocabulary inolved a lot of 'leh' last time we drank...
Beena.
PS. The Pinny did spin good outside work today! I correctly engaged first gear and released the clutch while depressing the accelerator.. i did this however while travelling backwards at quite a speed...

i'm not sure how those private messages work... i did send you an email, so if you got it, reply to me there, otherwise... look i know five hunjy is a bit light for what you got, and i know that you'd want more for it... i may consider meeting you half way, but that would have to be the absolute limit, maily cos i expect that i'll pay freight from perth to melb too. another thing that makes me think twice is the 5th channel... it's a cool idea, 5ch amp, but not really what i need... but nothing hurts having a sub too (hehehe)
while i'm here, can i ask a few q's about the amp?? here goes: what guage power cable do you need to use? is it possible to fit 4 guage into the amp? does it need it? what did you use? also is the fifth channel a monoblock (ie one RCA input, not twin, and is that section of the amp separate to the rest, ie in-built class D???)

Dude,
Of course the 5th channel will only have one RCA in!!!! One channel = one signal = one RCA!!
All monoblock means is that the whole amp only has one channel to avoid channel interaction. This amp simply has 5 channels - one RCA per channel.
The 5th channel is however of class-D design, a lower frequency switching design so it can't reproduce high frequencies like the usual class A/B designs. It is however more efficient in its operating range but restricted to subwoofer freq's. All channels are 'separate' as such. There are 5 amps in a 5 channel amp.
Just thought I'd clear that up!
Oh, you would most definately have to run 4G or even 2G for that amp over the distance from your battery to the boot. If the amp won't take 2G just put a distribution block in the boot! The amp has a max. current draw of 80A so a pretty reasonable fuse will be needed too.
Beena.

HEY DICKHEAD, leh...
just incase you were confused about what i was asking (too much bass from your kicker amps, leh, pounding around you poooov karnt head), leh... by one RCA i meant one single RCA plug, not a pair, leh...
as i recall, leh, it was you who downloaded the owners manual from the net and forwarded it to me, leh... now open up you eyes and turn down the bass, leh, and you be able to see that in the pictures, leh, that the subwoofer has two inputs (L and R), leh!! what have you got to say about that, leh??? from what i can tell, leh, and i haven't read the manual, leh, is that the sub channel is actually set up to run two subs off it, leh. in fact i even think that it's able to run a L/R sub arrangement, leh, like sort of in stereo, leh.
seems you're not all that, leh, just cos you drive a VL, leh, doesn't mean that you are the be all and end all of car audio, leh. hehehe, leh...

It is class D yeah and there are I think there are 3 separate amps, 2 2channels and the sub one. There are actually 2 outputs from the sub amp, only one in tho. This is so that you can run two subs if you want, and thus have a 6channel amp. It is designed to run those two channels bridged for a one sub setup, which is what gives you the quoted 200wrms.
