1g-gte overheating

Hi all,
I have an 86 soarer with a 1g-gte,and recently, the car is overheating. So I thought it might be the thermostat and so I changed it to 85 degree thermo for a 5s-fe, but no luck. So I thought may be the radiator is blocked, so went to natrad and got radiator and block cleaned. It still overheats.
What I have notices is that when i first start the car and be on idle for around 5mins, at the end of the muffler there is some moisture (water). Does this mean anything or is it normal? Could it be the head gasket?
How can I know if its the head gasket???
Is there anything else I need to check??
Cheers

Oil milky - no
Drink heaps of coolant - No but most coolant is dumped out of the overflow bottle, therefore I need to refill the radiator again..
Blow white smoke - no
Also I checked the spark plug leads and all except 4th and 6th cylinder has oil on it...
Also I found that overheating caused when no coolant is left at the radiator becuase coolant has been leaked out the overflow bottle. So what faults would cause the pressure increase?

Radiator has been fully checked and they assure me that its not the radiator.
Also they did a test where it shows if there is any air been trapped in the radiator, and it was consistently realising air bubbles, and we were testing it for around 5 mins..
With my last post is it normal see oil near spark plugs and some at the end of spark plug lead?

radiator releasinng bubbles at top where cap is? Thats a pretty good sign of a water leak inside the system...dont be surprised it its a BHG...same thing happened to me a fair while back...get a hg test kit from someone and test it...but theyre not definitive anyway. stop letting it overheat or youll warp the head or even crack it, or crack te block.

Just incase you were wondering your car is supposed to let out a little water when it is started when it is cold, as for your cooling problem have you actually checked a leak of for a block in the heater core perhaps, i dunno if you have had this checked but a pressure test will tell you this if there is a leak in the system

my conversions only starting...im piecing together the new engine...the block arrived today find a decent auto shop to do your hg, and pay cash...make sure they use a GENUINE toyota gasket...shit ones will just blow again. Use someone you can trust or do it yourself. Most likely the engine you can get for 1500 will end up in as bad or worse condition...could be rooted already..

Thanks all for your advice and it is the headgasket because I got a hydrocarbons test and it showed positive to hydrocarbons in the radiator

sorry to hear that dude...make sure u either do it yourself or know someone you can TRUST with it..a lot of cheapass mechanics use aftermarket head gaskets which arent worth a pinch of shit..and they will blow again in a short time. Trust me. It has been a personal experience and a $1400 pain one for me.
