Bumper deterioration Mon, 10 February 2003 10:14 Go to next message
Hey all,

does anybody know of a way to bring back the colour on a sun damaged/deteriorated front and rear black bumper on an ae86? i know u can buy products out there like da plastic cleaners or tyre shine etc but they last a few days, anything that lasts longer? i know the long term solution would b to get the bumpers painted black but im looking for a cheaper alternative to do me till i get my car resprayed. Any ideas?

thanks

Scott

I thinks it's really weak that manufacturers keep using the same crappy material for these bumpers. Have a look around and you'll see the bumpers on any +5yr old car will start to show signs of deterioration (unless they are painted/body colour matched of course).

I think that's really lame...

A product called back to black. I'm not sure who makes it but it makes grey black again. Inside and out
