If most AFM cars ever backfire on gas, they have a habit of blowing the guts out of the AFM's.

i think toyota checked out the AFM and its ok. i mean sure enough the "contents" of the AFM are still there, we prized the panel off the top of it and it seems ok (ie: the electronics are moving inside it when the accel cable is depressed)
um yeah, dual fuel setups are good at blowing stuff up ala the falcon black plastic plenum chambers on the EF onwards - seen many of those in pieces not to mention the commodore air boxes in bits and pieces
