Hey guys.
Building a website for gf's uncles business. Trying to work out how quick it is, want to make sure its not too slow for users on 56k connections. Most of the images are made small, and kept small in size, but if everyone could, if they have a moment have a look, give us some feedback or even give me a few hints on how to tweak it a bit more for some more speed.

All I want to know is if all of you on varying connections find the speed of the page acceptable?

Thanks,
Nathan

Only part of the site is up, some of the drivers. Going to the Focal drivers page under home audio would be a good test of speed...

Took about 20 seconds all up. Its the background speakers image that takes the longest.

Looks good so far mate!

What connection you have dude? I need a way to make that picture smaller... Sad

As for that image, I've already made it a GIF file with a cut-down palette...hmmm...

Lightening fast 56k !! Laughing

The page itself is quick, (about 10secs or so) but the image was another 10-15 secs more!! Hrmm, so if its already been gif'd then can you interlace it somehow?

Lets see....its hard for me to test, cos whe I check, its either on my computer, or I have cable!

Should interlacing make the file bigger? Cos it did...
