I need a fan belt for my 1J.
Its a JZX90 motor. I rang castle hill toyota and they said they dont have or cant get one for me.
Does anyone know where I can get one and roughly how much I should expect to pay. Are there any aussie cars you know of that use the same length belt???
I need it to start my beast. Desperate.

go down to your local auto parts store and buy a belt the same size
if u didnt have a belt in the 1st place, get a rope and wrap it round the pullies then measure it and take it into your local parts store.
they will have one that will suit, just make sure whatever is used to adjust the belt tension (alternator) is set midway or so.

Are you talking about the serpentine belt? A friend of mine bought one of those for his JZA70 engine quite recently. I can find out where he got it if you like (it was a Toyota dealer on the Gold coast, can't remember which one).

Serpentine belts are METRIC!!!!
Do the string trick then measure the string, mine came to 1790mm
therefore i went and got a 6PK1790 belt. The Chaser is a 6PK belt so all you need is the length.
TOO EASY.
