Ooooh, keeping the stock computer makes it a little harder unless you start playing silly buggers with the AFM etc. to try and 'make' it work. Probably best to aim for similiar power as a slightly boosted stocker e.g. nissan RB20 roller turbo, in which case why not keep the original ones?

Anthony have you looked at finding the stock single turbo and plumbing from the later model 1JZGTE? I don't know how compatible they are but i believe the turbo is a CT26?? Your 1GGTE has CT12 turbos right? If you decide to keep the twins can you just fit the larger CT12A turbos from the older 1JZGTEs? Isn't the IS200's engine block basically the same or originated from the 1GGTE? I have seen a few turbo conversions onto IS200s...guess it comes down to money. 5 speed? try a Jap wrecker...ask them if an IS200 6 speed will bolt up just for something different.

First you have to work out what sort of power you are after. For all the stuffing around of the RB20 turbo, its not going to endow the engine with much more power at all.
Once you've worked out that, then go looking for a turbo that meets this level.
As for the gearbox, any Jap wrecker should have a W58 Supra 5-speed, they are pretty common. As for the IS200 6-speed...as long as it has the IS200 (G-series) bellhousing, it should bolt right up...be prepared to pay around $2000+ for it though.
