18RG displaced to 2.4L

has anybody stroked the capacity of an 18RG to 2.4L? i've heard of people using 22R pistons and 16R rods. i think the comp ratio was like 7:1 or something. has anybody done anything like this?
Cliff from the Celica Car Club of Qld (show quality red RA28) has bored/stroked his turbo 18R-G to 2.4 litres. He used a 22R crank, 16R rods and custom pistons (same bore as 22R). A few people in the US have built 2.4 litre 18R-G's also. Note that a fair amount of machining is required to get a 22R crank in an 18R block, mostly for clearance of the counterweights I believe.
that would have killer amounts of low-end tourqe wouldnt it? and allow for decent level of boost with the lower compression ratio? id love one of these engines in a celica

ive talked to some people about piston sizes and useing 22RE pistons alone brings the capacity out to 2,126cc roughly. im not sure what comp ratio that would have. just using 22RE pistons sound good enough to satisify my needs. how much can you take out of 18R block's bore before it needs sleeves?
