IS200 has a north-south engine
The only six cylinder east west is the V6 from a Camry, & I severely doubt that would fit due to the width of the engine

I'd like to see someone drop an inline six plus gearbox into the engine bay of a corolla in an east west config. I think you might need some big fat flared guards fit it in.
You would be a very crafty engineer to get away with that one me thinks.

i thought there was a east west 1g engine
not sure where i seen it but i am positive i have seen one.
I could be dreaming tho.
