7afe oil on spark plugs

hi everybody
i have a bit of oil on #2 and #3 spark plugs in my 7afe..there's more oil on #3 (numbering left to right), and only a bit on #2, but none on the underside (sparking side) of the plugs, just on top of them..any idea what the problem is? The car has been running fine like this for ages already, just using a bit more oil than it should. I just changed the spark plugs today and it's running a bit better than before (no more v.liiiight pinging that it sometimes did in 3rd gear under load).
thanks!
Paul

Mine used to have oil all over the spark plug boot, but not from inside the engine. It is caused by a rubber seal inside the rocket cover around the holes for the spark plugs deteriating. As you said, it didn't affect how the car drove or anything, but still doesn't look pretty.
